Don McDougall, 59, of Buda went on to a higher belonging on Friday, August 6, 2010. Don is survived by wife, Joyce; son Justin and his wife, Sam; daughter, Lindsey; brother, Rodney and his wife, Dawn; sister, Charlene.
Don was a native of Austin. He attended Lanier High School and he served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1973. He retired from LCRA in 2005.
He will be sorely missed by many family members and friends. The thing that everyone will miss the most is his keen sense of humor and his big belly laughs. His favorite pastimes were being close to his children and his love for car racing.
A service for Don was held Wednesday, August 11, at Onion Creek Memorial Cemetery.
