The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas (RMHC CTX) is hosting its 32nd annual Bandana Ball from home on Sept. 17 to support the thousands of families that utilize the Ronald McDonald House and its various programs each year.
Through quality healthcare and family-centered care, RMHC CTX’s programs work to improve the health and well-being of families and their children who stay in the hospital for extended periods of time.
The Bandana Ball will take place via Zoom and feature live music and a live auction. Participants can pick up their special party box and three course meal at Austin Catering to set up and enjoy during the event. Premium sponsors will receive their package at their homes.
Proceeds from the event will go towards housing and feeding families in the area so they can focus on caring for their sick child. Last year, the Bandana Ball raised $575,000.
“Families should be as close as possible to their child during this very scary time in their lives,” said Carolyn Schwarz, CEO of RMHC CTX. “It’s an honor to make that possible with generous donations from events like these. We get to give back in such a big way to Central Texans.”
