The Hays County Sheriff’s Office is seeking any information regarding a Sept. 17 burglary at the Walgreens on 1660 N. Main St. in Buda, officials say.
Surveillance video shows a small-framed person shattering the bottom window of the front entry door to gain entry. The suspect used a small wooden handed sledge hammer to break the window, which was recovered from the scene, the sheriff’s office says.
The suspect then carried a black or dark-colored cloth bag inside and steals large amounts of cigarette cartons. He left the scene through the same window, authorities say.
Austin Police Department also has open burglary cases involving the same suspect description at other Walgreen locations, authorities say.
