Dane Vaughn Sullivent, 45, of South Austin went to be with his Lord on January 25, 2011. He was a loving and caring husband and father, and his passing will leave a large hole in many people’s lives.


He was born in Austin, TX to Truman and Barbara Sullivent. Dane and Karen were married on March 2, 1996.


Dane enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with his father and sons and camping with the family.


He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara and grandparents, Jessie and Cleo Dell Sullivent.


Dane is survived by his loving wife, Karen; devoted sons, Travis and Trevor; daughter, Chelsea; father Truman and his wife Rosemary; brothers, Darren of Llano, Trey and his wife Tanya; sister, Deann; grandparents, Willie Mae and Walter Hector; aunt, Edith and uncle Bentley Tyler all of Austin. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and an abundance of friends.


The family received friends Friday, Jan. 28 at Harrell Funeral Home, Austin. Services were Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Woodlawn Baptist Church. Burial followed at Live Oak Cemetery in Manchaca.
