The Dripping Springs Tiger volleyball team was making a point at the 2021 5A tournament, as the Tigers beat Alamo Heights in 3.
The Tigers took on the Mules earlier in the season, beating them 3-0 on Sept. 14. But a hard-fought match on Oc. 12, in which Alamo Heights beat Dripping Springs 3-2 set up this playoff rematch.
At Tuesday’s game, the Tigers (36-15) beat the Mules (27-15) in three: 25-17, 25-15, 25-23.
Dripping Springs will take on Flour Bluff on Friday at 5 p.m. at the Northside Athletic Complex, 8400 N. Loop 1604 West, San Antonio.
Flour Bluff has an overall record of 34-5, with league play at 13-3. The Tigers overall record is 36-15, with league play at 14-2.
