Joe D. Ramirez , 68, of Buda passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2010. Mr. Ramirez is survived by son, Joseph Ramirez and wife, Joann; two sisters, Janie Gutierrez, Innocencia Camarillo and husband, Jesse; two brothers, Tom and Pedro Ramirez; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 13, at Santa Cruz Catholic Church in Buda. Burial followed in Assumption Cemetery in Austin. Pallbearers were Jesse Camarillo, Jose J. Camarillo, Jr., Ricky Urias, Joseph Robert Ramirez, Jr., Eric Allen Ramirez, and David Ramos. Honorary pallbearers were Fred Urias and Jose Camarillo Sr. The family would also like to thank the staff of Seton Medical Center in Kyle for the care Joe was given at the time of his illness.
