BUDA -- The city of Buda hired a new director of finance.
Bianca Redmon will begin her role with the city on Monday, Sept. 20. She previously served as chief financial officer for the Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District in Round Rock. Prior to that, she was chief financial officer for the city of Balch Springs, where she earned the Government Finance Officer Association’s “Distinguished Budget Presentation Award” for the first time for the city and was awarded the Texas Comptroller’s “Financial Transparency Star.”
“We are excited that Bianca will be joining the Buda team. She is an up-and-coming talent who brings high standards and a new perspective to the City’s financial administrative processes,” Deputy City Manager Micah Grau said.
“I am humbled to join a group of accomplished professionals who have contributed to the success and exponential growth of the City of Buda. I am excited to see how I can fit in and best contribute to the team.”
