Elizabeth “Betty” Robinson, 84, of Georgetown, formerly of Buda, born to Mona (Ruir) Hart and William Hart on February 1, 1921, in La Pas, Manitoba, Canada, was called to Heaven on October 3, 2010.
She was preceded in death by son, John “Jay” Robinson, on March 19, 2006 and son-in-law, Eugene “Gene” P. Hunt, Jr., on January 23, 2006.
She is survived by daughter, Linda Hunt and family, extended families, and many close friends.
Graveside services were held October 6, 2010, at Onion Creek Memorial Park in Austin, officiated by Pastor Kevin Lentz of Bethany Lutheran Church, where she was a long-time member.
Betty was a gracious lady and best friend to many. She enjoyed her church and hobbies and had the ability to bring a smile to your face and laughter to your heart.
Special thanks to all the wonderful folks at Georgetown Nursing and Rehab for the gentle care they lovingly gave Mom during these past months as well as special friends who have been so supportive.
