Elizabeth Jean Rogers, 94, passed away on June 20, 2009, in Austin. She was born September 9, 1914, in Lavaca County, Texas.
She married Frank R. Rogers, Sr., on August 12, 1949 and he preceded her in death in July, 1974. Mrs. Rogers was a long time employee of First Federal Savings and Loan in downtown Austin.
She is survived by stepdaughter, Dorothy Nell Stacks of Austin and stepson, Frank R. "Buddy" Rogers, Jr. and wife, Lynda of Burnet.
Graveside services were held on June 23, at the Kyle City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice will be appreciated.
