Jack Leroy Ross, 65, of Kyle, passed away Monday, June 8, 2009. He was born August 17, 1943 in Hot Springs, South Dakota.
Jack was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. he served his country proudly and was honorably discharged from the United States Navy. Jack also enjoyed wood working, golf and fishing. He enjoyed working in his yard and his talents showed for all to see and enjoy.
He is survived by wife Sharron Ross of 37 years; son Jim Mahon and wife Teri; Daughter Patty Manco and husband Ken; Son John Mahon and wife Amelia and daughter Stefanie Dougherty and husband Thomas. He is also survived by grandchildren Zachary and Leah Mahon, Sherry Fenton, Joey and James Manco, Cody and Elizabeth Mahon, Emily and Kendall Dougherty.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 15, at 10 a.m. at Harrell Funeral Home Chapel in Kyle followed by graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
