A water main break at Dahlstrom Middle School in Buda this afternoon has forced an early release for those students, according to Hays CISD spokesperson Julie Jerome.
Dahlstrom is the only school in the district impacted by the early release, Jerome said. Buses are at the school now transporting students home, and the district is callng parents of students who do not ride the bus to pick up their children.
Remaining children will stay at Dahlstrom Middle School with staff until the end of the school day, Jerome said. Bottled water is being provided.
