Ernest James Alcala, 59, of Buda, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sat., Feb. 14, 2009. He is survived by daughter Debbie McLean; son P. J. Alcala; son Michael Jon Alcala; mother of his children Julia Alcala; mother Helen Alcala; sister Linda Bradford; brother Rene Alcala; grandson Tino McLean and grandson Joe McLean and wife Nelda Sepeda. He was preceded in death by father Pedro Alcala.

Recitation of Holy Rosary will be 7 p.m., Tues., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, South, in Austin. Mr. Alcala will lie in state beginning at 9 a.m., Wed., at Santa Cruz Catholic Church.
