State Rep. Patrick Rose (D-Dripping Springs) will once again chair the Human Services Committee during the 81st Texas Legislature, according to reports coming from the Capitol.
Rose also chaired this committee during the 80th legislature. As chair of the House Human Services Committee, Rose holds hearings across the state on issues from children in foster care to the aging population.
Rose will once again serve as a member of the Higher Education Committee, as well as vice chair of the House Administration Committee.
Rose is in his third term, serving Blanco, Hays and Caldwell counties.
