Is Zoning fair to all?

When I first heard about U.S. Food Services wanting to move to Buda, I though it sounded like a good thing for the community.

The more I hear about it (by attending city planning and zoning meetings) has caused me and many others to be very skeptical about the land use east of IH-35 frontage road being changed to Industrial.

A few months ago, Capital Steel, who has been a good neighbor to Buda for something like twenty years, was denied a zoning change.

Do you think these are fair and reasonable decisions?

The Planning & Zoning Commission approved the land plan Feb. 24. It will go before the city council Tuesday, March 17.

If you are a concerned citizen, please attend this meeting at City Hall, Main Street, Buda.

Many questions will be asked and hopefully answered. The only way you can really know what happens is to attend the council meeting Tuesday, March 17.
