Seton Hays celebrates its first birth in new Kyle hospital

Dannie Dale Brownlow, 62, of Buda, died Thursday, February 4, 2010. He graduated from Wm. B. Travis High School in 1965. He was employed by AT&T for 35 years before he retired. He was a member of the Buda Masonic Lodge.

Dannie was an amazing husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend. His greatest pleasure was hunting and fishing. It has been said that all the children he came in contact with loved him like their own father and most called him Paw Paw Turkey. He always had a smile on his face and kiss and hug for everyone he met. We will all miss our dear Dannie. We love you, Paw Paw Turkey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Jewel Brownlow.

He is survived by son, William Dannie (Bill) Brownlow; wife and best friend Starr Brownlow; children, Lisa Perry and husband Mike, Heather Johnson, Amber Johnson, Kathy Tolbert and Rick Willis; grandchildren, Sara Cheyenne Brownlow, William Dalton Brownlow, Amber Ramsey; sister, Sammie Grumbles and husband Ed and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers: Mike Perry, Jerry Williams, Ronnie Wood, James Burdell, John Touchstone, Tim House, Adrian Trevino and Scott Dove.
