Jerry Paine Fife of Kyle, Texas passed away on Feb. 20, 2009 at the age of 45. He was born on May 18, 1963 to Jimmy Ray and Shirley (Paine) Fife in Houston, Texas.
Jerry was the type of man described as "full of life." He was a happy caring father and son who was always available for his daughters and son and would not miss any event that was important in their lives.
Having attended and graduated from Southwest Texas State University (1982-1986), he lettered his four years of football and received 2nd Team All Conference and Honorable Mention. He is loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Henry and Johanna Fife and maternal grandparents, Buck and Juanita Paine.
He is survived by his wife, Telissa Fife; children, Chyloe Paine Fife and Cheyenne Webster Castilla and her husband, George both of Kyle and Chisholm Webster of Austin; his parents, Jimmy and Shirley Fife Sr. of Wimberley; brothers, Jimmy Ray Fife Jr. and wife, Tammy of New Braunfels and John William Fife and wife, Missy of Trophy Club, Texas; sister, Kathy Lynn Schauer of San Marcos; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2499 Capital of Texas Hwy South, Blvd A, #204, Austin, TX 78746.
Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb., 24, 2009 at Pennington Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of San Marcos with the Reverends Mark Newton, Paul Powell and Mark Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at the San Marcos City Cemetery, San Marcos, Texas.
