Manuel "Manny" Regalado Mendez Jr., 60, of Austin, formerly of Kyle, died on Friday, June 22, 2007 surrounded by his family.
Manuel was born on May 19, 1947 in Kyle, Texas. He was a lifetime member and past president of Pan American Golf Association. Manuel was a wonderful, loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and brother.
Manuel is survived by his wife of 40 years, Margaret R. Mendez; daughter, Jacqueline Chavez and husband, Daniel; son, Christopher Mendez and wife, Rosemarie; daughter, Monica Mendez; son, Manuel Mark Mendez; brothers, Tony and John Mendez; and 15 loving grandchildren.
A funeral mass was held on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at St. Louis Catholic Church with interment following at San Vicente Cemetery in Kyle.
