Ruth Ann Folsom, 55, of Buda, passed away Tuesday, May 27, after a long three and a half year battle with cancer.
She was born on Feb. 7, 1953, in Austin. She worked for the Hays CISD for 12 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Anna and Don Mishou. She is survived by her husband, Aaron Folsom; daughter, Brandy Waggoner and husband, Jimmy; son, Daniel Fowler; brothers, Arthur Mishou and wife, Sherry and Mark Mishou; grandchildren, Kristen and Derek Waggoner; nephews, Jon Mishou and wife Esmarelda and Michael Mishou; aunt, Pat Brown and uncle,Calvin Hays.
Graveside service will be Saturday, May 31, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park. Services will be performed by the Rev. Dr. Robert W. Seney.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Assocaiton.
