Kyle — Residents will soon have another option for their chiropractic needs in Kyle.
The Joint Chiropractic was founded in 1999 by a doctor who had the vision to transform the traditional concept of routine chiropractic care by making it more convenient and affordable. In March 2010, it was re-founded with the acquisition of the original eight franchised clinics and now it has grown to a national network of more than 850 offices.
A new location will open on March 1 at 5103 Kyle Centre Drive, Suite 101 in Kyle, which is about 30 to 35 minutes from the New Braunfels office.
“Our New Braunfels location is super busy, so we looked at the geographic area and it just kind of led us to the Kyle area,” said Kelsey Kincaid, operations manager. “A lot of our patients were coming from San Marcos or in between Kyle and San Marcos. We were looking to provide a little bit of relief from having to drive all the way to New Braunfels.”
While The Joint does not accept insurance, Kincaid said the pricing is affordable.
“Your first visit is usually $29 and every visit after that is $45, but we have plans and packages, so people are able to get that chiropractic care without having to go through hefty copays or fixed visits,” Kincaid said. “Usually with insurance, the copay is around $40 a visit and it’s not covered with chiropractic care. Our pricing is comparable to that but also most insurances give you an allotted fixed visit.”
She added that instead of patients paying $29 for the initial visit, it will be free for the first month that the Kyle location is open.
