On Saturday, Feb. 18, the Tigers hosted their 28th Annual Track Meet at Tiger Stadium. The Tigers hosted more than 15 area high schools, 100 coaches and 1,000 athletes.

On Saturday, Feb. 18, the Tigers hosted their 28th Annual Track Meet at Tiger Stadium. The Tigers hosted more than 15 area high schools, 100 coaches and 1,000 athletes.

Track coach Kourtney Morris stated the track meet was a huge success and the stands were at capacity.

School staff and parent volunteers started planning for this meet in November.

The event also had more than 30 DSISD coaches volunteer to run field events and 20 parent volunteers in the concession stand.

The Tiger Track Booster Club organized the coaches' hospitality area, which included breakfast and snacks.

The Tiger boys varsity team finished in 6th place with 46 points.

The Tiger girls varsity team finished in 10th place with 16 points.

The Tigers' next track meet is scheduled for March 4 at Dragon Stadium in Round Rock.
