On Feb. 25, the Johnson Jaguars boys basketball team staved off the New Braunfels Unicorns in a 61-57 area round win that generated one of the largest crowds to catch a basketball game in the history of Bales Gym. At press time, the Jags will tip off against Stony Point for the regional quarterfinal.
