The threat of a looming thunderstorm did not deter the public from joining the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce for the 2023 Star Awards. The sold out event was held at Dripping Springs Distilling on Thursday, March 2.

As the program was getting started, the storm rushed in and blew open the doors. Still, businesses and individuals alike waited patiently in hopes that they would be announced as the winner for various awards.

Chamber president Susan Kimball, along with special guest Texas Radio Hall of Fame inductee Bama Brown and several Dripping Springs locals, took turns presenting the winners for the evening.

“The Star Awards is one of the best events in Dripping Springs,” Kimball said.  “Celebrating our businesses and community members is such an honor.”
