Tigers advance to area track meet

The Tigers track teams competed in the UIL 6A track district meet held on Monday, April 10 and Wednesday, April 12 at Toney Burger Stadium. The Tigers varsity girls finished in 4th place with 109 points and the varsity boys also finished in 4th place with 77 points.

The top four qualifiers from the district meet advance to the area meet. Listed below are the Tiger athletes who have advanced to UIL 6A Area Track meet scheduled for Wednesday, April 19 at Eastview High School in Georgetown.

100mH - Sophia Farris

100m - Gunnar Betts

400m - Lucy Fredenburg

300mH - Sophia Farris & Gage Groce

200m - Kaleigh Howell
