DRIPPING SPRINGS — Senior Jordan Cox (15-3, 1.50 ERA) pitched a complete game shutout, her sixth, last Friday night when the Lady Tigers hosted Anderson on senior night and the final game of the regular season.

Cox struck out 12 Trojans, gave up only three hits and one walk in the 9-0 win. She went 3 for 4 at the plate, had a double and triple and led the offense with 4 RBI. Seniors Taylor Anderson and Erika Kanetzky, 2 RBI, were 3 for 4 at the plate, and senior Megan Joost got her first hit of the season. Jai-Lynn Flores, a sophomore, hit a home run — her seventh — and drove in two runs.

Dripping Springs, 28-7 (13-3), will share the 6A District 26 Championship with Johnson High School and at press time, will hold a game to determine seeding in the playoffs.
