Dripping Springs sweeps SPHS
DRIPPING SPRINGS — Dripping Springs Tigers Softball (31-7) opened bi-district playoffs with a sweep over Round Rock's Stony Point High School (12-16) at Tiger Field. The Tigers won the first game 5-1 and won the second game 7-3.
The winning pitcher in the first game was Jordan Cox, who pitched all seven innings, gave up 2 hits and 1 run. The winning pitcher in the second game was Haiden Anderson, who pitched all seven innings, gave up 3 hits and 3 runs.
Next up for the Tigers will be San Antonio Clark High School (21-10). This will be best of three games; the first game will be on Thursday, May 4. The location has yet to be determined.
