Families filled the range at Hog Heaven Sporting Club for the annual Dripping Springs Fire in the Sky Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, July 1. Prior to the show, kids ran and played lawn games in the wide-open field. The threat of rain loomed most of the evening, but the clouds cleared just after dark.
The Wimberley Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted The Best Little Parade in Texas on Tuesday, July 4. Texan cheerleaders, Boy Scouts and businesses and organizations of all sizes joined in the festivities. Wimberley Valley Chamber Executive Director Rebecca Hancock shared a few words after the Wimberley Fourth of July parade, "This is such a wonderful time, to see families come to Wimberley and celebrate our country's birthday. We couldn't do it without the support of our sponsors, volunteers and participants."
