BUDA — Baylor Scott & White Health received accolades in U.S. News & World Report’s 2023-24 Best Hospitals ranking on Aug. 1.
In the report, a total of 26 Baylor Scott & White hospitals were recognized, including four facilities with a nationally ranked specialty — more than any other nonprofit health system in Texas.
“This recognition affirms our commitment to excellence in delivering safe, high-quality, customer-centric care,” said Pete McCanna, CEO of Baylor Scott & White. “Across our health system, our teams are dedicated to making an impact and helping those we serve live well.”
In addition to other rankings, U.S. News publishes data-informed hospital ratings for common adult procedures and conditions, with the Buda facility rated “high performing” — the highest distinction a hospital can earn — for common procedures and conditions, specifically pneumonia.
“I am proud of our teams at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Buda for all of their hard work to achieve this designation. We take immense pride in providing you with exceptional care and are delighted that U.S. News & World Report recognizes our efforts,” said Cortland Hudson, director of operations for Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Buda. “This recognition reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional, customer-centric care. We are proud to be a part of the Hays County community and thank our patients for trusting us with their care.”
