St. David's Healthcare expands cardiac care options in Kyle

KYLE — St. David’s Heart & Vascular cut the ribbon on its comprehensive cardiac clinic in Kyle on Wednesday, Aug. 30. The new office, located at 4100 Everett St., Suite 100 in Kyle, brings St. David’s affiliated physicians from Austin Heart, Texas Heart and Vascular and Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia all under one roof.

“It’s a nice, consolidated office. We have general cardiology, we have specialists — Dr. Boyer, Dr. Gallinghouse — so we have the support,” said Faisal Syed, M.D. from Austin Heart. “We can do a lot of diagnostic studies over here … So, this will be kind of a one-stop-shop for cardiology over here.”

Nathan Boyer, M.D. with Texas Heart and Vascular expanded on Dr. Syed’s sentiments, “I think that this is a nice opportunity where we've got groups working together in harmony, where we're going to afford the opportunity for our patients in this community to have access to state-of-the-art cardiovascular care without having to go into the city,” Dr. Boyer said. “We have all been on I-35, we know what that traffic is like and we want to break down that barrier and make sure that we're offering this community the care that they deserve.”

In addition to the new location, the current Kyle office, located at 135 Bunton Creek Road, Suite 102, will remain open under the care of Francisco J. Otero, M.D., F.A.C.C. with St. David’s affiliate Cardio Texas.
