WIMBERLEY — After a 3-1 loss to Lake Travis, the Dripping Springs Lady Tigers volleyball team 40-3 (9-1) have three consecutive shutouts over Bowie High School, Del Valle High School and, most recently, Johnson High School last Friday night. Dripping Springs will host Akins at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 6.
Looking ahead, the Lady Tigers have a rematch in the final home game of the regular season with Lake Travis at 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 20. The Lady Tigers won the State Championship last year — their first year in Class 6A.
