WIMBERLEY — The Lady Texans volleyball team 24-6 (4-1) used all their hitters to beat the visiting Navarro Panthers 25-16, 22-25, 25-19 and 25-23 in a district match on Sept. 26.

Sophomore Laney Hennessee had 19 kills and Addison Parks added 11. Rhagen Maur had 26 digs, Addie Laney had three aces and Parks had two.
“We used all six of our hitters to stay fresh, but I think it came down to us not making too many errors,” head coach Stephanie Barthels said after the game. “Addie Laney played well helping us to finish game three with a win.”
Hennessee had 19 digs, Laney and Jesse Weeks each had 16. Carson Peoples had 25 assists and Weeks, who is getting close to a career 1,000 assists, had 30. Masur had 32 service receptions with only two errors.
The Lady Texans travel to take on Davenport on Oct. 6 before hosting Bandera at 6 p.m. on Oct. 10.
