The Johnson Jaguars Girls Water Polo team in a pre-game ritual to motivate the team prior to a Bi-District playoff game against the Smithson Valley Park Rangers on Monday, Oct. 9.
The Johnson High School girls team remained undefeated in district play following the 19-4 win, granting them an advance to the Area round. On Friday, Oct. 13, Buda’s Johnson Jaguars faced Waco’s Midway Panthers in the Area round of playoffs. The Jaguars defeated the Panthers in a 14-7 victory to advance to the Regional Quarterfinals. At press time, on Tuesday, Oct. 17, the Jags will play Round Rock Westwood.
