On Saturday, Nov. 4, the Dripping Springs Tigers returned for their 10th consecutive appearance at the UIL State Cross Country Championship held at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock.

There were more than 30 high schools that participated in the championship race and more than 150 runners. The Tigers finished in 16th place overall.

The top finishers for the Tigers were:

• Lucy Fredenburg with a time of 19:37.5

• Alexa Velasco with a time of 20:09.0

• Madison Johnson with a time of 20:11.5

• Sofia Vences with a time of 20:16.5

• Mia Simons with a time of 20:23.7

• Laurel Hoskovec with a time of 20:26.0

• Rebecca Nolan with a time of 20:40.1
