HAYS COUNTY -- San Marcos resident Jose Nasipak was sentenced on Monday, August 17, to 80 years in prison for Possession with Intent to Promote Child Pornography. The sentence came down from 453rd Judicial District Judge Sherri Tibbe.
On June 18, Nasipak guilty was found guilty of 28 counts of Possession with Intent to Promote Child Pornography, which are all second-degree felonies. After hearing additional evidence, Tibbe sentenced the defendant to the maximum 20 years in each count.
