Hays CISD recognizes employees with 2024 Ambassador Awards

On May 24, Hays CISD recognized employees who have displayed exemplary customer service at the 2024 Ambassador Awards. Since 2012, Hays CISD has awarded Ambassador Awards to outstanding employees who consistently demonstrate exemplary performance and dedicated service, showcasing what it means to be 100% Hays CISD.

Hays CISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) Director Suzi Mitchell was chosen as the 2024 district Ambassador of the Year. One of Suzi’s peers wrote that she is a “jewel in the Hays CISD crown.”
“Simply put, her efforts through the years have not just changed lives,” the person wrote, “she has enabled so many of our students become more than they ever thought they could be.”
“We will miss her, but her legacy and the contributions she has made to our district will long endure.”
