Before the graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 1, Dripping Springs High School settle into their seats and look for their families in the packed stands.

DRIPPING SPRINGS — The Dripping Springs High School Class of 2024 graduated at a ceremony held on Saturday, June 1, after the threat of a thunderstorm postponed the original event on Friday.
In front of a packed house on the visitor side, the ceremony began on time with 569 seniors on the field as they waited for their name to be called to receive their diploma.
The ceremony opened with a processional for the seniors, courtesy of the Dripping Springs Tiger Band.
Class President Anna Hoskovec opened with welcoming remarks to her fellow graduates, their families and friends. The salutatory address was given by Jaiden Stankard and the valedictory address was given by William Johns.
After the ceremony, the graduates, families and friends were treated to a grand fireworks display provided by Half Off Fireworks.

Closing remarks were given by Presley Cochran and the ceremony concluded with a fireworks display provided by Half Off Fireworks.
School officials also recognized in memoriam, Karla Andrea Lipman and Dorian Zev Kweller; the class song was "Nobody's Perfect" by Kweller.
