The Health Department on Monday reported the death of a woman in her 80s who was living with a relative in Buda.
Additionally, the number of confirmed cases grew by 19 overnight to a total of 93, according to the county’s 4 p.m. update of its “dashboard” on the coronavirus at haysinformed.com.
The county reported its first presumptive case on March 14.
Of the 93 positive cases, 50 remain active, while 42 have recovered. Test results in seven cases were pending, and 571 county residents who were tested were not found to have the virus.
The greatest number of positive tests have been among Kyle residents at 37. San Marcos is second with 29 and Buda third with 16.
