Blue Cross Blue Shield and Baylor Scott & White extend contracts to October

HAYS COUNTY —  Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas and Baylor Scott & White Health announced that provider and facility contracts will be extended to Oct. 1.

The three-month extension means Baylor Scott & White providers, hospitals and other facilities will remain in network for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas members, while both parties continue to work to finalize a longer-term agreement.

“Baylor Scott & White and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas share a commitment to the health and well-being of the patients and members we serve,” a news release stated.
