An unexpired Kyle City Council seat for District 6, that was held by council member Daphne Tenorio, is expected to be filled by a special election Saturday. The seat remains open after Tenorio resigned in order to run for the office of Hays County Tax Assessor-Collector.
Two candidates, Michael Tobias and Brandy Heindl, are running against each other for the open position.
Only persons living in and registered to vote in District 6 can vote for this representative. The District 6 term will expire in November 2021.
Voting will take place at the Hays CISD administration office Saturday, located at 21003 Interstate 35 North.
