DRIPPING SPRINGS — The Dripping Springs Tigers football team opened district play on Thursday, Sept. 26, with a 63-0 win over the Akins High School Eagles.
The Tigers’ defense dominated the Eagles' offense and allowed only 12 rushing yards in the entire game. The Tigers ended the game with 255 yards passing and 203 yards rushing for a total of 458 yards.

• Quarterback Maddox Maher was 11/13 for 143 yards and four touchdowns
