The Lady Texans 28-2 (1-0) won in straight sets 3-0; the scores were 25-18, 25-12 and 25-17. Parks had 176 receptions with only 10 errors and 230 kills on the season. Wimberley hosted Davenport on Oct. 1 before playing three games on the road against Fredericksburg, Bandera and Canyon Lake high schools and returns home to host Navarro High School at 6 p.m. on Oct. 15.
