Chip Roy Is a Threat to IVF
In vitro fertilization or IVF offers hope to countless couples struggling with infertility, and labeling embryos as “persons” could lead to severe restrictions on this essential medical option. I am deeply concerned about the growing push for fetal personhood laws, and specifically about this ideology's threat to the availability of IVF for Texas families.
Representative Chip Roy’s co-sponsorship of the Life at Conception Act in 2021 demonstrates his extremist belief that a fetus should have full personhood rights from the moment of conception.
Roy is in lock-step with extremists on this issue, and out of step with Texans. Most Americans support access to IVF in particular, and to reproductive health care in general. Chip Roy is wrong for the future of Texas and dangerous for the future of IVF.

As soon as I tapped on the screen he disappeared….. kinda like what’s happening here in our good ol’ USA.
I wonder why the lizard was there at all just as I wonder about the events that are happening all around me ……events that I do not understand.
I do not understand why anyone would align themselves with a crowd prompted by a sitting US President to storm our Nation’s Capitol in order to destroy twice counted votes transferring power to a new President.
I wonder why a past President of this Great Nation would have his own Private Army…… The Proud Boys and The Oath Takers are just some of the groups who rally to his becken call.
I wonder why this past President, while in office ,despite catastrophic floods, tornados., Heat Waves.and out of control fires, pulled our County out of Global Climate Accord organization and refused to seek alternative methods of energy such as Wind and Solar. Instead, he encouraged the drilling of oil in sensitive areas of the planet.
But just like the lizard who appeared on my screen door and then as quickly disappeared, this present upheaval in our Democracy (storming the Capitol) and the refusal to acknowledge Global disasters (Covid, Climate Change) can be reversed if we ALL get involved to make It happen. We are all capable of flicking a Lizard off our Screen Door.
