WIMBERLEY — The Lady Texans’ 14 game-win streak ended with a district loss at home on Oct. 1 against Davenport HIgh School 29-7 (3-0) in five sets, winning the first two 25-17, 25-19, then dropping three 19-25, 17-25 and 11-15.
Wimberley 29-3 (2-1) rebounded on the road at Fredericksburg High School on Oct. 4 with a 3-0 win and will have two more road games before hosting Navarro at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
