Vote to protect our health
Chip “obstructionist” Roy prides himself on being a fly in the ointment, but you’ve got to wonder what he’s done to help his constituents. I recently read that he has voted against eleven healthcare bills, all of which passed the Republican-led house, and some of which became law, fortunately.
Chip voted no on the PACT Act, which expands eligibility for healthcare and benefits to veterans with toxic exposures and those who served in Vietnam, the Gulf War, and since 9/11.
He voted no on the Inflation Reduction Act, which has already lowered drug costs for millions of seniors like me.
He even voted no on a bill to give nursing mothers a place and time at work to express breast milk for their babies.
Chip, Texans who live in District 21 want you to vote to protect our well-being, not to make political points.

He hoots softly but surely ………… just as our Country begins to make very important decisions regarding our survival as a Democracy.
The owl continues to hoot its warning…….please be careful…….think before you mark your ballot.
After our Constitution was accepted Franklin was asked what we have….a Republic or a Monarchy . He responded “a Republic if you can keep it.”.
In order to KEEP IT we must be vigilant. We must CARE. We must not be frivolous in our decisions at the Ballot Box.
We must consider the consequences of our choices. Are these people who work to protect our Children from classroom massacres? Are these the people who will provide Child Care for working families? Are these the people who will advance ways to protect our Country from Global Warming?
I continue to listen to the Owl’s hoot and I pray we will make the right decisions at the Ballot Box and continue to KEEP our Republic intact.
