Can’t lose with Dripping Springs catfish

Can’t lose with Dripping Springs catfish

PHOTO BY WAYLAND D. CLARK There is nothing like Friday night football in Texas and Dripping Springs High School head football coach Galen Zimmerman can often be heard after a win congratulating players and telling his team, “It’s hard to win on Friday night in Texas.” But they can’t really lose, at least in Central Texas, when the band boosters at the concession stand cook up fried catfish during home football games at Tiger Stadium in Dripping Springs. Pictured are Jason Davis, left, Rob Linton, Wesley Daoust, Jon Wolf and Will Lamb ready to serve (lead cook Luke Hassel not pictured.) Fans will have the opportunity to fulfill their craving when the Tigers host Lake Travis HIgh School on Friday, Oct. 18 and when they host Westlake High School on Friday, Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m.
