DRIPPING SPRINGS – The Dripping Springs High School Lady Tigers volleyball team (39-2 overall, 7-0 district) has a seven-game win streak and remained undefeated in 6A District 26 with a 3-0 sweep over Bowie High School on Friday, Oct. 11.
Henley Anderson had eight kills in the win and has 427 kills on the season.
The Lady Tigers will travel to Westlake before returning home to host Lake Travis High School (20-18 overall, 4-3 district) at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18.
WIMBERLEY – The Wimberley High School Lady Texans volleyball team, 31-3, is 4-1 in 4A District 26 with a 3-0 win over Canyon Lake High School last Friday.
Laney Hennessee had 13 kills in the win and has 329 on the season.
The Lady Texans will host Navarro High School (26-13 overall, 3-2 district) before traveling to face Davenport High School (317 overall, 5-0 district), the Lady Texans’ only district loss, at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, and will host Fredericksburg High School at 6 p.m. on Oct. 22.
