Kevin Michael Hardin, age 45, of Kyle, Texas, soared to be in the loving arms of Jesus Christ on Tuesday, 1st day of October 2024. Kevin was born in Austin, Texas to Paul Frank Hardin and Rebecca Ann Hardin on the 9th day of December 1978. Kevin was a loving father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. His greatest joy in life was raising his two sons, Jeremiah and Zakiah. He loved teaching his boys everything that he enjoyed so much about the great outdoors; swimming, fishing, and just walking around and being together in nature. He served his country in the United States Navy and was pursuing his lifelong dream of becoming certified as a scuba diver instructor.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley and Julia Hardin, and Buck and Shirley Dobbs. Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Jeremiah and Zakiah, his father, Paul “Pops” and Grace Hardin of New Summerfield, Texas; mother Becky Hardin, of Kyle Texas; sister Patricia Hardin, of Austin, Texas; brother Logan Hardin, of Stratton, Colorado; his second momma, Debbie Knight of Gilmer, Texas; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends.
A memorial celebration of Kevin’s life will be from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Saturday, the 19th day of October, 2024, at the New Summerfield “Sale Barn Sunday” Cowboy Church located at 23733 U.S.Highway 79, New Summerfield, Texas, 75780.
Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Rhone, Larry Rhone, Brantley Rhone, Logan Hardin, Chance Brandon, and Rex Sanchez.
