On Sunday, Oct. 20, the owner, San Long, decided to give back to the community one more time by providing free donuts on his final day in business, following the purchase of the property by the city of Kyle. Hays City Donuts gives free donuts for last day, owner heads into retirement
PHOTO BY ASHLEY KONTNIER The Hays City Donuts property, located at 106 N. Burleson St. in Kyle, was purchased by the city of Kyle in a recent deal. The business’s famous croissant sandwiches will still be sold at The Main Squeeze’s new location at 108 S. Front St. in Kyle.
