The Dripping Springs High School (7-2 overall, 4-1 district) football team was off last week and will host Westlake High School (9-1 overall, 5-0 district), which has outscored opponents 272 to 30 in five district games.
The final game of the regular season and senior night, it is likely to be a sell out on Friday, Nov. 8, with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. Dripping Springs has outscored opponents 220-108 in five district games. Westlake won last year’s game at home 27-14. The two teams will not meet in the playoffs as Westlake is in Division I (as is Lake Travis) and the Tigers are in Division 2.
