PHOTO BY URSULA ROGERS On Tuesday, Nov. 5, the Hays High School girls basketball team hosted the Chaparral High School Bobcats and took a 41-36 win in the non-district match up. Over the weekend, the team participated in the BeYOUtiful Classic at Westlake High School, earning them three wins and two losses. Pictured, Hays players put pressure on a Chaparral player. The Lady Hawks have an overall record of 5-2 going into the press time game against Alamo Heights High School on Tuesday, Nov. 12. Following that game, the team will have a couple of weeks off before a tournament on Nov. 26-27. District play will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 10.
