At the Jan. 7 Dripping Springs City Council meeting, the council celebrated Dave Edwards, center, for his service on the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) No. 1 and No. 2 Board. He has served on the board for seven years, from 2017-24. Mayor pro tem Taline Manassian, left, commended him on his great service and current Chair 2, Craig Starcher, right, thanked him for his mentorship. The TIRZ No. 1 and No. 2 Board meets the second Monday of each month.
